What We Do
Currently, Christ's Kin provides original praise and worship music and testimonies of redemption through God's mercy and grace by presenting to churches, recovery groups, young people, and other faith-based events weekly. We offer hope and guidance based on our real-life experiences.
First Steps is a ministry that provides brand new shoes to men and women when they are released from prison. We meet them when they are released and give them new shoes and socks for their first steps in their new life. We hope that they see the love of Jesus in us.
Our Mission
To help others who are willing to help themselves. To give Hope to the hopeless and new life to those in need.
Our main goal is to teach the younger generations that the choices they make now will affect their future. They don’t have to make the same mistakes that we made.. there is a better way…and we make sure that they hear how Jesus changed us and gives us life and life more abundantly.
Some people have given up, or recently been released from incarceration. They also need our help! By helping them regain a semblance of life, we make our communities better places to live.
"First Steps" shoe ministry is how we connect and where we let them know that they are not alone and that we are available to help them navigate this world and are willing to help.
Our Vision
At Christ's Kin, we are instrumental in creating a society and community where anyone coming out of prison or recovering from depression can easily access the help they need to continue with their lives and transition back into society in a productive way.
We are an educational force helping young people avoid these situations altogether by encouraging the development of purpose for their lives consistent with the teachings of Christ.
Our vision for "First Steps" is to provide new shoes for everyone being released in every state in our country. We want them to know that someone loves them and that we are there to help in any way we can.
